James E. Tilsley, P.Eng.
Chief Geologist - QP

James Tilsley whose career experience has spanned the globe has over 45 years experience as a Geologist. Mr. Tilsley has worked on exploration, development and evaluation of mineral deposits and mineral environments in North, Central and South America, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Asia, Australia, Indonesia and Greenland. A prolific contributor to industry journals, Mr. Tilsley’s has an impressive breadth of expertise.

 

 

 
 


Peter H. Smith, PhD
Geologist

Dr. Smith holds a B.Sc in Geology from McGill University (1959) and an M.Sc. & PhD from Northwestern University (1962 & 1966). Formerly with the Geological Survey of Canada, Falconbridge Nickel Mines Ltd., and Amax Exploration Inc., he has practiced as an independent consulting geologist since 1971. Since 1986, Dr. Smith has served as President and Director of Fancamp Exploration Ltd., a publicly traded comoany. He is currently a director of the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada, and is a registered Professional Engineer of Ontario.

 

 

 
 


Hendrik Veldhuyzen, P. Geo.
Geologist,  Manager Bellechasse Project

Mr. Veldhuyzen holds a M.Sc. Geology  (1976) from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. Since then his work as a consulting geologist has taken him across Canada, Central America and Africa giving him broad experience in mapping, sampling, deposit evaluation, and designing gold and diamond drilling programs. Mr. Veldhuyzen is a member of the Ordre des Geologues du Quebec and the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia.

 
 

 
 


Paul R. J. Nicholls, P.Eng.
Consulting Geologist

Paul Nichols is a graduate of Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario earning a B.Sc. in Geological Engineering. For the past 30 years Mr. Nichols has worked as a geologist with experience in all aspects of the field. He has designed, supervised and implemented gold, uranium, base metal and platinum group metals exploration programs throughout Canada, and has consulted on several gold projects in Africa. Mr. Nichols is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers of Ontario, as well as the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada.

 

 


 
 


John Breedlove, M.Sc.
Geologist, Manager Maine Project

John Breedlove has an M.Sc in Geology from the University of Maine where he specialized in Massive Sulfide Deposits. John has over 20 years of field experience under his belt with companies such as Chevron Resources, Boise Cascade, Aur Resources, Homestake and Kennecott Creek Mining, in locations all over the Americas and on a variety of projects. Having extensive geological knowledge, practical experience and personal contacts in Maine, John brings unparalled exploration and managerial skills to the Golden Hope Mines Ltd. team.
